 Cinematters is written by Laura Gray, a mother of two and a long-time parenting magazine editor. An award-winning journalist, Laura found that Cinematters meets two key editorial goals: it provides time-strapped parents with a fun way to connect with their kids and it gives editors timely, well-written copy and eye-catching graphics on a regular, monthly basis. As an added bonus, magazine publishers get a great marketing tool for potential advertisers!
Cinematters was begun in 2004 by Kelly Parthen and Shannon Payette Seip, two moms who were looking for ways to make their kids’ TV time count. Parenting publications, newspapers and Web sites snapped up their innovative column and a syndicated hit was born!
Today, we focus our efforts on featuring top family-friendly films (G- or PG-rated only!) with easy-to-follow directions for hours of fun for all ages!
